Pie Sale Order Form

Veterans Supply Drive 
Dear Parents/Guardians:

In honor of all our veterans and with Veterans' Day approaching, our Student Government Club is holding a Veterans Supply Drive.  Attached you will find a list of items that are being requested for our local veterans.  If you can donate any of these items (they must be new) please have your children bring them into school and the Student Government Club will collect them.  Our drive ends next Wednesday, November 6.

Halloween 2019 
Dear Parents/Guardians:

There is an all call going out tonight, October 30, in regards to our Halloween activities.  At the time of the all call I will make a decision on whether we will be having our parade or not.  There is supposed to be rainy/misty weather and if that is the case we will not have a parade.  I am watching the forecast and will make the decision at the time of the all call.  Even though we may not have a parade we will still allow the students to dress in costume, and we will still have our classroom parties. Please review the letter below that was emailed out on Tuesday night.

Just a reminder that tomorrow, October 31st, is a short session day.  Dismissal is at 12:30 for PK and K and 12:40 for grades 1-5.   Please be prompt to pickup because our staff members have to attend their meetings in the afternoon.

Sight Words for Grades K-5 
Dear Parents/Guardians:

Attached you will find a High Frequency Word List for grades K-5.  Each grade is separated by page and these are the words that the students should be able to read, write, and spell by the end of each grade level.  Please take a look at these words and review them with your children at home to help promote their education.  Thank you for taking the time to look at the lists below and investing in your child's education.

Interim Reports Distributed 
Dear Parents/Guardians:

There is an all call going out tonight.  Here is what the message states:

  This afternoon your students will be bringing their Interim reports home. Please check their backpack and folders for them.  If you have parent access via genesis you can also access them online. If you did not receive a copy or cannot access it online please call the main office of the school.

Teacher of the Year and Education Specialist of the Year 
Dear Parents/Guardians:

Each school year the state of NJ and our district honor a Teacher of the Year and an Education Specialist of the Year (which could be a Child Study Team Member, Paraprofessional, Librarian, etc.).  Here is a chance for you to nominate a staff member for one of these awards.  Please utilize the form below to nominate one of our staff members.  Please also pay attention to the scoring criteria outlined in the form, because this will be how we select our winners.  Thank you in advance for taking the time to nominate a staff member for this award.

Book Fair Coming Next week
