July 2018 - Posts
Dear Parents/Guardians:
Each year our students who are entering grades 3, 4, and 5 have summer reading projects that are assigned. Students should have received the packets in school during the last few days that school was in session. If they have misplaced those packets, you can find them in the body of this post below.
Please keep in mind that our children should be reading at any grade level for about 20 minutes a day over the summer. As parents, it is ok to read with them, and ask them questions about what they are reading. Have your children read about interests they may have, this way they stay more engaged in their reading. Reading is an essential skill that helps in every other subject that they will encounter throughout their lives.
