PK-2 Fun Day Postponed to Friday (1) 
Dear Parents/Guardians:

Due to the strong possibility of inclement weather the Fun Day for grades PK-2 is postponed from this Thursday, June 6 to Friday, June 7.  Grades PK-2 will be dismissed at 1:15 on Friday from their normal dismissal locations.

Dear Parents/Guardians:

We have a few important dates coming up in June.  Please see below:

SAES Important Dates

Short Session Days:

June 13, 20, 21, 24 ,25

Dismissal 12:30 for PK and 12:40 for K-5

School closed June 19

Fun Days: (Dismissal is 1:15 for those grades involved) 

Grade 3 - June 4 (YMCA)

PK-2      - June 6 (At SAES Rain Date June 7)

Grade 4 - June 11 (Bowlero)

Grade 5 - June 14 (iPlay)

Last day of school June 25 

Fifth grade moving up ceremony at MHS at 10 am.

Snow Tubing Trip Moved 
Dear Parents/Guardians of our 4th and 5th graders:

Due to circumstances beyond our control we have to move the snow tubing trip from this Thursday, 2/15, to this Friday, 2/16.  The times remain the same, the bus is leaving at 8:45.  Please make sure all students are at school on time.  If your child was scheduled to go on Thursday and cannot attend the trip on Friday due to the change of date please contact your child’s homeroom teacher.

Mother-Son Dance 3/8/24 

Dear Parents/Guardians:


Thanks to all who purchased tickets to the “Candyland” Father-Daughter Dance this Friday, 2/9/24, at the Middle/High School. In case you missed it: Physical tickets will not be sent home with students. Dads and their Candy Queens will check in at the PTO table upon entry. (Note that this event is sold out; no tickets will be sold at the door.)

 

Also! Ticket sales are now open for this year’s SAES Mother-Son dance, “Hollywood Red Carpet” which will be held on Friday, March 8 at the MHS. Head to mother-son-24.cheddarup.com for more info and to register. As with the Father-Daughter dance, space is limited, and tickets will be sold on a first-come/first-served basis.

Conferences Open On Genesis 
Dear Parents/Guardians:

You are now able to schedule parent-teacher conferences on Genesis.  Please log onto the parent portal, go to the conference tab on the left, and select a time.  Our conference dates are 2/7 in the evening (6-8 pm) and 2/8 (1:30-3) during the afternoon. Both 2/7 and 2/8 are short session days dismissal is 12:30 for PK and 12:40 for K-5. Please be prompt in picking up your children so our teachers can prepare for the conferences.

All After School Events Cancelled 1/9/24 

We do have a regular dismissal for today 1/9/24, but all after school events are cancelled. This includes HW club, Extended Day, and the YMCA after care program.

This is also a reminder that we have a short session day on Thursday 1/11. PK dismisses at 12:30 and K-5 at 12:40.
