1. Please refrain from using the staff parking lot.  It is unsafe to have parents using the lot for drop off and pick up.

2. As the weather is getting warmer, I am just reminding everyone that we ask to not have pets at arrival or dismissal times.  We do have students that are either allergic or scared of animals.  Please keep your pets across the street if you feel you need to bring them with you.

3. For Read Across America week, tomorrow is wacky Wednesday. Wear your wackiest outfit.

4. Finally, reminder that Friday is a short session day dismissal is 12:30 for PK and 12:40 for K-5.

Tomorrow, Thursday, February 3 and Friday, February 4 are short session days for parent teacher conferences.  PK dismisses at 12:30 and grades K-5 dismiss at 12:40.  Please be prompt in picking up your children so our teachers can prepare for conferences. Remember that our conferences are virtual and you will need to schedule them through Genesis. When you log in to a conference you need to log in with your child's email.

Primero que todo ¡Feliz Año Nuevo! Espero que todos hayan tenido unas vacaciones de invierno seguras y saludables. Como hemos visto en las últimas dos semanas, ha habido un aumento en los casos de Covid. Debido a estos sucesos, estamos instituyendo algunos cambios en la escuela primaria. Por favor lea abajo:

• Aumentaremos el espacio entre los estudiantes durante nuestras sesiones de almuerzo.

• Requerimos que nuestros estudiantes usen sus máscaras durante el recreo, tanto adentro como afuera.

Dear Parents/Guardians:

First of all, Happy New Year!  I hope everyone had a safe and healthy winter break.  As we have seen in the past two weeks there has been a rise in Covid cases.  Due to these occurrences we are instituting a few changes at the elementary school.  Please read below:

• We will increase spacing between students during our lunch sessions.

• We will be requiring our students to wear their masks at recess, both indoor and outdoor.

• There may be a slight change in lunch times due to spacing.

Please make sure your students are wearing appropriate fitting facemasks.  This is imperative in order for our students and staff to remain safe and continue in person instruction.  Thank you in advance for reading this letter and having your children adhere to the changes above.
