Yearbook For 2021-22 
Dear Parents/Guardians:

You can order your yearbook online now.  Just follow the directions on the flyer below.  We look forward to providing a more inclusive yearbook this year, because we are all back in person.  We are going to continue to take pictures from our families as well, and you are able to submit them online (see flyer number 2).  If you have any questions please reach out to Mrs. Gundrum, [email protected], or Ms. Laddaga, [email protected], who are our yearbook advisors.

Cub Scout Pack 91 Sign Ups 
Attention Parents/Guardians:

PK and K Orientations 
Attention Parents/Guardians of PK and Kindergarten Students:

An email reminder was sent out Friday morning regarding our orientations for PK and Kindergarten.  Please check your spam folder if you did not receive the email.  If it is not in your general or spam folder then please log into Genesis to make sure the email we have is correctly inputted.

PK Orientation:

On Tuesday August 24th, at 9:30 we will have a short PK orientation for both parents and children to attend.  The John St main door will open at 9:15, and we will begin in the cafeteria.  We will have a short presentation and then a tour of the PK wing. After Governor Murphy’s last executive order, everyone who enters the building has to be masked, this is not an option.   

Kindergarten Orientation:

On Tuesday August 24th, at 11:00 we will have a short Kindergarten orientation for both parents and children to attend.  The John St main door will open at 10:45, and we will begin in the cafeteria.  We will have a short presentation and then a tour of the Kindergarten hallway. After Governor Murphy’s last executive order, everyone who enters the building has to be masked, this is not an option.

Summer Events At The Public Library 
Dear Parents/Guardians:

There are a few upcoming summer events taking place at our public library.   On August 10, from 11-12:30, rain date August 17, Mother Goose storytime with guest reader, Suzanne Ryan.  August 12th, rain date August 19th, from 6:30-8 pm, A Night of Broadway, Contemprorary Music and Jazz featuring Justin Ryan and Dorothy Dobkowski.  This is a drive-in, outdoor event.  Please see flyers below:

All Call For Fifth Graders 
Dear Parents/Guardians of our Fifth Grade Students:

There is an all call going out tonight for fifth graders:

Good evening, this is Sean Dunphy, Principal of the South Amboy Elementary School please listen to the following important announcement regarding our 5th grade moving up ceremony.

Tomorrow, Friday will be our moving up ceremony.  ALL (in person and remote) fifth graders are to report to the Elementary School between 8:30-8:40.  They will report to their homerooms, and will be bussed down to the M/HS at a little after 9 am.

The ceremony will take place at the Middle High School gymnasium.  Doors open at 9:30, ceremony begins at 10:00 AM. Please use the gym entrance doors.  Tickets are necessary.  Each family was supplied with 4 tickets, please have them with you when you enter.  Families are asked to sit together on the blue X’s on the bleachers.  Students are required to wear masks, we are recommending that spectators wear them as well.

South Amboy Fall Arts Fest 2021 
Attention South Amboy Residents,
