Parents of South Amboy Elementary School:

Each year our fourth grade puts on a living museum.  The past two years we have had to hold this "virtually".  Our students put a lot of effort into these videos and we are very proud of them.  These historical figures were all picked and performed by the students themselves, the District doesn’t necessarily endorse any of the statements made, and no student is required to watch all of the presentations.  Enjoy the playlist:

We have our SAPTO Photo Scavenger Hunt going on right now.  Join in on the fun:

We also have our Boosterthon coming back this year.  We will not be having a fun run, but we will be having a dance fit program.  See all the information below:

Our South Amboy Dance Fit Fundraiser will kick off in just 3 weeks on June 1st! This year we are still partnering with Boosterthon for our annual fundraiser. In place of the fun run this year, we will be doing a Dance Fit program, where students will participate in a 35-minute video that features videos from Just Dance! Click here for a flyer!

Our goal is to strengthen our school community by having fun, inspiring our students to live with character, and to raise funds to improve our school.

Here’s what all students can get excited about:

  • Fun, engaging character development lessons

  • A high-energy event to give our school a much-needed boost of fun!

If your family feels it’s not in the position to financially support the school, that’s ok. Families can actually support our school by also SHARING about our fundraiser with friends and family online. Sharing IS supporting.

In case you missed it, here’s a preview video of the Dance Fit experience that will take the place of our fun run this year to accommodate for fully remote learners and social distancing:

Key dates to remember:

  • Donating Opens - 5/18/21

  • Kick Off - 6/1/21

  • Event Day - 6/10/21
Our Dance Fit will take the place of our annual fun run this year!

Thank you for supporting our schools through the South Amboy Dance Fit Fundraiser!

Thank you,
Sean Dunphy
