Chorus Information
The South Amboy Elementary School is pleased to continue to offer Chorus for students in grades 4 & 5. Chorus is made up of individuals that work together to perform as a group. There will be performance opportunities that include a Spring Concert to be held in June 2023. Chorus students will need to have a folder or a binder in which to hold their music at rehearsals to keep their music safe. Music will be provided already hole punched for those students utilizing a binder.
The chorus will rehearse after-school on Thursdays, from 2:55 PM to 3:45 PM. As I am currently on maternity leave, all chorus rehearsals will begin on Thursday, December 8th.
Attendance is taken at each rehearsal. Students are expected to remain for the entire rehearsal. SAES Chorus is an activity centered in music, mutual respect, and the joy of performance. As a performing group we work together each rehearsal to ensure the best possible performance for the entire ensemble.
Permission slips will be passed out in hard copy at the end of November 2022. If your child misplaced their permission slip, one is available in the "Digital Documents" section of the Music Teacher Page.
