Dear Parents/Guardians:

If you are getting pictures done today or Thursday and wish to order them please follow the steps below:

1.) Go to Picture Ordering

2.) Enter picture day ID:   EVTS8723S

3.) Place your order, it will be shipped right to your door.

Important Reminders 
Dear Parents/Guardians:

Here are some very important reminders for the upcoming weeks:

  1. School Pictures are Monday 2/22 and Thursday 2/25.  You need to sign up for a time slot which can be done here: School Pictures Signup
  2. Our PTO is hosting a virtual book fair through Scholastic.  The book fair, which is completely virtual, begins Monday 2/22 and runs through Monday 3/7.  You can read all about it in this letter: 2021 Scholastic Book Fair_principal_letter_online.pdf
  3. We are returning back to school on Monday, March 1.  I sent an email home to all parents 2/18/21, please check Genesis to see if your placement is correct.  You can view which day your child is to return to school by looking at the Student Data Tab on the parent portal.  Purple day students come Monday and Wednesday, Gold Day Students come in Tuesdays and Thursdays.  We alternate every Friday.  Friday, March 5, will be a Purple day.  If you see that your child is fully virtual they will remain fully virtual. If you have any questions or concerns please contact the main office.
  4. The week of March 1 is Read Across America Week.  Being that it is our first week back and Read Across America Week, we would like to have some fun.  The PTO has put together theme days for that week:

Gertrude Hawk Yearbook Fundraiser 
Dear Parents/Guardians:

We are having a fundraiser for our yearbook.  This is a chocolate sale by Gertrude Hawk.  This sale is done completley online and runs until March 28th.  Please see the following 2 files below on how to set up an account.  All our proceeds will go to keep the cost of our yearbook down for the students and families.  If you have any questions please email Mrs. Gundrum, [email protected].

Conferences Reminder 
Dear Parents/Guardians:

There is an all call reminder about conferences going out tonight.  Here is the information it contains:

This is just a reminder that our Parent Teacher Conferences are tomorrow and Friday, 2/4 and 2/5, and will be held virtually.  You can sign up for conferences in Genesis.  Because of the conferences please be aware that the schedule changes a little bit for our students and staff.  Dismissal is at 12:40 your specials times may have changed and there is no student or parent support on these days.   Bleow you will find the times and specials classes for Thursday and Friday:

Conferences 
Dear Parents/Guardians:

There is an all call set to go out tonight regarding conferences.  Here is the information it contains:

Our virtual parent conferences are scheduled through Genesis.  Please log into your Parent Access account to schedule a conference. Please remember that if you do not sign up for a time slot on parent access you will not be scheduled for a conference.  Evening conferences are on Thursday, February 4, from 6-8 pm, and afternoon conferences are on Friday, Febraury 5, from 1:30-3 pm.

 The school dismisses at 12:40 both of these days.

School Pictures Postponed 
Dear Parents/Guardians:

Being that our Hybrid opening is postponed until at least February 1, we are moving our picture days to February 22 and 25. All of our in person students will go during the day, 9-12:30, while they are in school those days, and we will be arranging a schedule for our virtual students to be able to come in 1:30-3:30 each day. Be on the lookout for an email around Presidents' weekend regarding pictures. Again if you wish to submit candids and/or portraits for possible use in the yearbook you can do so online. Re-Opening on January 19 
Dear Parents/Guardians:

Please read the attached letter regarding our reopening on January 19th, next Tuesday.  We will be returning with our hybrid schedule.  You can check your child's cohort, Purple or Gold or fully remote, on Genesis.  If you wish to make a change we would need to know ASAP, please contact the main office.  We will make every effort to accommodate the change request, but due to numbers allowed by social distancing, we may not be able to accommodate every change.
