Computer Science
Starting in the first trimester, students will learn and hone many skills throughout their time in computer class. Some of the skills they will learn include:
- Google Drive tools - Basic coding - Problem Solving
- Typing practice - Critical thinking - Collaboration
American Sign Language
Starting in the second trimester, students will continue to build and develop their receptive and expressive skills from 1st through 5th grade. Some of the skills they will learn include:
- Facial expressions - Manual (fingerspelling) alphabet
- Numbers 0-30 - Introducing themselves
- Naming family members - The date
- Describing their favorites (colors, hobbies, etc.)
